A massive flood in Nepal’s Budhi Gandaki River has swept away several houses and damaged infrastructure, prompting authorities to urge residents to move to safer locations. No casualties have been reported so far. The river, a tributary of the Trishuli, lies downstream from another tributary where a glacier collapse triggered a catastrophic August flood that killed 1,457 people.
