Taiwan’s Coast Guard Administration used a water cannon to drive away Chinese fishing boat Jin Sha after it refused repeated orders to leave restricted waters near Taiwan-held Dongsha Island. Following three unsuccessful radio warnings, CGA vessel Yunlin sprayed water into the air from about 200 metres away before directing it at the boat’s bridge. Jin Sha then left the area.
