Stabbed Flydubai Pilot Smit Macchhar Worked With SpiceJet

The pilot accused of stabbing his co-pilot during a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv has been identified as 37-year-old Smit Macchhar. He reportedly joined Flydubai in June 2022 after working with SpiceJet and had extensive flying experience. The aircraft later landed safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, after an emergency was declared following the reported mid-air altercation aboard.
