Man Who Paid ₹58 Crore Tax Criticises Gurugram Garbage

Gurugram: Doctor-turned-entrepreneur Aniruddha Malpani, who said he paid ₹58 crore in taxes during the last financial year, criticised civic conditions after a photograph showed garbage and waterlogging in an upscale Gurugram market. Malpani said he does not mind paying taxes but is frustrated by the lack of value received from public expenditure, asking, “This is what our taxes fund?”
