A Food and Drug Administration officer in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar was confronted by locals who accused him of accepting a bribe to allow a shopkeeper to sell expired food. A video allegedly showed residents making him eat expired biscuits. The confrontation reportedly followed an incident in which a two-year-old child fell ill after consuming a snack bought from the shop.
