China Removes General Linked to Doklam, Galwan Clashes

China’s top political advisory body has stripped former PLA General Zhao Zongqi of his membership and removed him from a committee on ethnic and religious affairs. Zhao, reportedly involved in the 2017 Doklam standoff and 2020 Galwan clash with India, has also not appeared publicly for months, according to reports citing Reuters.
