Bengaluru Accounts for 75% of Karnataka’s Influenza Cases in 2026

Karnataka has reported 4,212 laboratory-confirmed influenza cases across 32 districts in 2026, with Bengaluru accounting for 3,081 cases, nearly 75% of the total. Udupi recorded 300 cases, while Mysuru and Dakshina Kannada reported 187 and 87 respectively. The state recorded 4,583 cases in 2025 and 3,903 cases in 2024, highlighting continued influenza activity.
