Railway Changes Train Operations Due to Non-Interlocking Work

Train operations in the Danapur Division of East Central Railway will be affected due to non-interlocking work. In view of the construction work, the railway has cancelled several trains and decided to operate a number of services through diverted routes. Passengers have been advised to check the operational status of their trains before starting their journey.

According to the railway, train number 18105 Rourkela-Jaynagar Express will remain cancelled on October 1 and 3. Train number 18106 Jaynagar-Rourkela Express will not operate on October 2 and 4. Similarly, train number 18119 Tatanagar-Jaynagar Express via Muri will remain cancelled on October 2, while train number 18120 Jaynagar-Tatanagar Express via Muri will be cancelled on October 3.

Train number 18629 Ranchi-Gorakhpur Express will remain cancelled on September 25 and October 2. Train number 18630 Gorakhpur-Ranchi Express will not operate on September 26 and October 3.

The railway has also decided to divert 10 trains. Train number 17005 Hyderabad-Raxaul Express will operate via Kiul, Munger and Barauni on September 24 and October 1. Train number 17006 Raxaul-Hyderabad Express will run via Barauni, Munger and Kiul on September 27 and October 4. Train number 17007 Charlapalli-Darbhanga Express will take the Kiul-Munger-Barauni route on September 26 and 29, while train number 17008 Darbhanga-Charlapalli Express will run via Barauni, Munger and Kiul on September 25 and October 2.

Train number 18621 Patna-Hatia Express will operate via Bakhtiyarpur, Bihar Sharif, Sheikhpura, Kiul and Jhajha on October 3. Train number 18622 Hatia-Patna Express will follow the reverse route on September 22, 25, 27, 29 and October 2.

Meanwhile, due to the Shravan Mela rush, train number 13320 Ranchi-Dumka Intercity Express will depart Ranchi two hours later than its scheduled time until August 29, 2026.
