Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the 2026 Brezza Facelift in India, introducing significant updates to its popular compact SUV. Starting at ₹7.39 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Brezza comes with refreshed styling, an upgraded cabin, multiple engine options, and enhanced safety credentials. Even before its official launch, the SUV earned a 5-star Bharat NCAP (B-NCAP) safety rating, making it one of the safest vehicles in its segment.
The biggest mechanical update is the addition of a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing 110 hp and 170 Nm of torque. Buyers can also choose the familiar 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which generates 103 hp and 139 Nm of torque, along with a factory-fitted CNG variant. The CNG model now features an underbody-mounted CNG tank, similar to the setup seen in the Maruti Suzuki Invicto, offering improved luggage space and practicality.
All engine variants are paired with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard, while the 1.5-litre petrol version is also available with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
On the outside, the 2026 Brezza receives subtle design updates, including a redesigned front grille with a dark chrome finish, revised bumper, connected styling elements, L-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and updated LED headlamps, giving the SUV a more modern appearance.
Inside, the cabin retains its black-and-brown dual-tone theme but adds several premium features. The SUV now comes with a 10.1-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system featuring built-in navigation and Alexa support. Other highlights include 64-color ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, an air purifier with active cooling, wireless smartphone charging, and leather-finish upholstery.
The 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza will compete against rivals such as the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet, Skoda Kylaq, and Kia Syros, further intensifying competition in India's compact SUV market.
