NEET UG Re-Test Begins Under Tight Security as Over 22 Lakh Aspirants Appear Nationwide

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the NEET UG 2026 re-examination on Sunday under heightened security and monitoring measures across India. More than 22 lakh candidates were expected to appear for the test. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall in Kolkata caused severe waterlogging and traffic disruptions, creating travel difficulties for several aspirants heading to examination centres on the day.
