India Lodges Strong Protest with US After Three Indian Sailors Killed in Strike

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has conveyed India’s strong protest to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio over attacks on commercial vessels that resulted in the deaths of three Indian sailors. Calling the lethal action unjustified, Jaishankar stressed concerns over maritime safety. India has also summoned the US Chargé d’Affaires, seeking accountability and clarification over the incident.
