The competition between Apple and Google is expected to intensify once again as both tech giants prepare to unveil their next-generation flagship smartphones. Apple may also introduce a smaller Dynamic Island by moving some Face ID components beneath the display. The device is rumored to be powered by the new A20 Pro 2nm chipset, offering significant improvements in performance and energy efficiency. It is also expected to include 12GB RAM, enhancing multitasking and AI-driven features.
On the camera front, Apple could equip the iPhone 18 Pro with a 48MP variable-aperture main camera, a 48MP telephoto lens and a 48MP ultra-wide sensor. The upgraded telephoto camera is expected to deliver better low-light photography performance.
Google is also preparing substantial upgrades for the Pixel 11 Pro. It may be powered by Google’s next-generation Tensor G6 2nm processor, which is expected to bring major gains in speed, efficiency and AI processing.
Reports suggest the Pixel 11 Pro could be offered with 12GB and 16GB RAM options. Its camera setup may include a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide camera and a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, while a 42MP front camera is also expected.
