Horror in Lohardaga: Man Axes Father and Wife to Death, Three-Year-Old Daughter Critical

A horrific family tragedy unfolded in Jharkhand’s Lohardaga district after a man allegedly attacked his family members with an axe, killing his father and wife while critically injuring his three-year-old daughter. The incident occurred in Sengra Toli village under Bhandra police station limits, sending shockwaves across the area.

According to police, accused Sandeep Oraon allegedly attacked his father, Surendra Oraon, and wife, Sujata Oraon, leading to their deaths on the spot. His young daughter, Reyanshi Kumari, sustained serious injuries and was first taken to a local health centre before being referred to RIMS Ranchi for advanced treatment.

Police said the accused locked himself inside the house after the attack, forcing officers to make significant efforts to arrest him. Authorities recovered the weapon used in the crime and launched an investigation to determine the motive behind the shocking incident.
