NEET-UG 2026 Leak Probe Deepens as CBI Finds ‘GOD’ Contact

The Central Bureau of Investigation has reportedly uncovered important new leads in the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak investigation during a raid at the Pune residence of physics teacher Manisha Havaldar. Officials believe the case may involve a large and well-organized network operating across multiple cities.

According to investigation sources, Manisha Havaldar allegedly prepared physics questions by hand before the examination. Agencies suspect that some of these documents were later destroyed in an attempt to eliminate evidence. Investigators are now trying to determine how the questions were circulated and how many individuals were involved in the alleged leak.

One of the biggest breakthroughs reportedly came from the mobile phone of Havaldar’s husband. During the forensic examination, officials discovered a contact saved under the name “GOD.” Conversations and chats linked to this number have now become a major focus of the investigation. The CBI is attempting to identify the individual behind the contact and determine their possible role in the paper leak network.

Sources claim investigators suspect the person linked to the “GOD” contact could be a key operator in the racket. Agencies are also trying to recover deleted chats, call records, and other digital evidence using advanced forensic techniques. Officials believe the restored data may reveal critical information regarding the operation of the network.

According to the CBI, Manisha Havaldar worked as a physics teacher at Seth Hiralal Saraf Prashala and was assigned duties as a physics expert for the National Testing Agency during the NEET-UG 2026 examination process.

Investigators allege that she shared certain questions with co-accused Manisha Mandhare before the exam, and those questions later matched the actual paper. So far, 11 people have been arrested from several cities, including Delhi, Jaipur, Gurugram, Pune, Nashik, Latur, and Ahilyanagar.
