Road Rage Turns Deadly in Siwan, BJP Leader’s Nephew Shot Dead

A minor road altercation in Siwan turned fatal after unidentified assailants opened fire near the Lakshmipur Andar Dhala overbridge on Wednesday evening. Harsh Kumar Singh, nephew of BJP leader and former MLC Manoj Kumar Singh, was killed on the spot after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds. His father, Chandan Singh, was critically injured and later referred to Patna Medical College and Hospital for advanced treatment.

According to reports, the incident began with a minor collision while the victims were waiting en route to a family function, which quickly escalated into a violent confrontation.

Senior police officials, including SP Puran Kumar Jha and SDPO Ajay Kumar Singh, reached the scene and launched an investigation. Raids are underway to identify and arrest the attackers, while security has been tightened in the area following the shocking daylight incident.
