Nitish Kumar Launches Development Projects in Kaimur, Rohtas During Samriddhi Yatra

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is set to roll out development projects worth over ₹780 crore in Kaimur and Rohtas as part of the fifth phase of his Samriddhi Yatra. Beginning in Kaimur’s Naugarh village, he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for schemes worth around ₹300 crore, covering infrastructure, education, healthcare, and welfare sectors. A key highlight is a 520-bed residential school for minority students, offering free education and facilities.

Later, in Dehri, Rohtas, Kumar will launch projects worth ₹480 crore, including initiatives to improve roads, drinking water, and public services. The visit also features the Jal Jeevan Hariyali scheme, aimed at supplying purified water from the Son river to several districts. The Chief Minister is expected to review project progress and stress timely, high-quality implementation while reinforcing development as the government’s core agenda.
