Mokama MLA Anant Singh is set to be released from jail on Monday after the Patna High Court granted him bail in the Dularchand Yadav murder case. He is expected to walk out around 2 pm and proceed directly to his Patna residence, where elaborate arrangements have been made to स्वागत him, including a large gathering and feast for supporters.
Preparations include thousands of attendees and extensive catering, with traditional dishes and sweets planned. On March 24, Singh will embark on a roadshow across his constituency, covering nearly 50 kilometres from Barh to Barahiya.
Singh was arrested in November 2025 following the murder during election campaigning and had been lodged in Beur jail. The court granted conditional bail, directing him not to influence witnesses and to appear during hearings. The case remains under legal scrutiny, with investigations and trial proceedings ongoing.
