Teacher Kidnapped by Armed Men; Police Launch Search Operation

A shocking kidnapping incident has been reported from Jamui district where a government school teacher was allegedly abducted by unidentified criminals. The victim, Kaleshwar Das, is a teacher at a government middle school in Hardiya Padariya in Banka district. According to reports, the incident occurred in the Maniktham–Bakhauri Bhadwariya area under Jhajha police station limits.

A cook, Renu Devi, who was traveling with the teacher, said around seven armed men intercepted them and forcibly took both of them. After moving some distance, the attackers released her but took the teacher along with them. The kidnappers also abandoned the teacher’s Hero Passion Pro motorcycle at the roadside, which was later recovered by police.

Following the incident, emergency response teams and senior police officials reached the spot and began an investigation. Police have launched an intensive search operation in nearby forest areas. Authorities say efforts are underway to trace the kidnappers and safely rescue the teacher.
