Nitish Kumar Begins Final Bihar Tour, Stays at Friend’s Home in Madhepura

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, often referred to as the “Chanakya of Bihar politics,” has once again drawn attention after filing his nomination for the Rajya Sabha, triggering speculation about his possible exit from the Chief Minister’s post. Amid these developments, Kumar has begun what is being seen as a significant tour across several districts of Bihar.

The visit started on March 10 in Madhepura, where the Chief Minister is scheduled to stay for three days. Interestingly, instead of staying at a government guest house or circuit house, Kumar has chosen to stay at the residence of his long-time friend and JDU MLC Lalan Sarraf.

During the five-day tour, the Chief Minister will visit multiple districts including Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnea, Katihar, Saharsa, Khagaria, Begusarai and Sheikhpura. He is expected to review development projects, inspect government schemes, and inaugurate or lay the foundation stones for several initiatives aimed at strengthening infrastructure and public services.
