Two Youths Shot Dead, One Injured in Naugachia Firing on Holi

A shocking shooting incident in Bihar’s Naugachia area on the day of Holi left two youths dead and another critically injured, spreading panic across nearby regions. The deceased have been identified as Gulshan Kumar and Dheeraj Kumar, residents of Bhaurakath village under Pasraha police station in Khagaria district. Their friend, Ajesh Kumar, sustained serious injuries and was first taken to Mayaganj Hospital in Bhagalpur before being referred to Patna for advanced treatment.

According to family members, Gulshan had visited Morakhia village to drop his wife at her parental home for Holi. Later, he and his friends Dheeraj and Ajesh went to a relative’s house in Borwa. The trio went missing after leaving the place around 4 pm. The incident came to light when injured Ajesh called relatives on Friday morning.

Police recovered the two bodies near Kalbaliya Dhar in Tetri. Authorities have launched a detailed investigation to determine whether the crime was linked to personal rivalry or robbery.
