RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav left for Delhi on Tuesday along with former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi, marking his second visit to the national capital within a month. According to sources, the visit is primarily for a scheduled health check-up, though it may also coincide with court-related appearances in ongoing legal cases. Yadav had last visited Delhi on February 15, when he underwent medical examinations and appeared before a court in connection with the land-for-jobs case, where he denied all allegations. The case is set for day-to-day hearings beginning March 9. Apart from this, proceedings linked to the IRCTC hotel scam and the fodder scam continue, with agencies seeking cancellation of his bail. The CBI and the Jharkhand government have reportedly urged the Supreme Court to review his bail status, increasing legal pressure on the RJD leader as multiple cases progress simultaneously.
