The Jharkhand government has proposed a budget of ₹361.67 crore for the Tourism Department for the financial year 2026-27. This budget aims to take tourism in the state to new heights by developing several modern and attractive projects. Glass bridges and ropeways will be constructed at the famous Dasham, Jonha, and Hundru waterfalls in Ranchi, allowing tourists to enjoy these natural sites in an exciting and safe way.Additionally, a skywalk will be developed in Patratu, offering stunning views of lush forests and scenic landscapes. In Netarhat, a glass watchtower will be built, which will become a major attraction for viewing the hills and sunsets.The state government aims not only to increase tourist numbers but also to boost local employment and businesses. Improvements in facilities at tourist sites and the development of new attractions will help Jharkhand emerge more prominently on the national and international tourism map. Experts believe that implementing these plans will ensure sustainable growth in the state’s economy and tourism sector.
