Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan has taken a strong stand on multiple issues, including the controversy surrounding a robot showcased at the recent AI Summit. Reacting to allegations that Galgotias University presented foreign technology as indigenous, he called it a serious lapse that could harm India’s international image. Paswan said institutions should not claim ownership of technology that does not belong to them and expressed confidence that authorities would examine the matter.
He also opposed demands for festival-based closure of shops, including during religious occasions, stressing personal freedom and individual choice. According to him, the government’s role should be limited to ensuring quality and hygiene rather than imposing restrictions.
Addressing the NEET student death case, Paswan urged authorities to ensure full protection for the victim’s family amid reports of threats, emphasizing that justice must be delivered without fear or pressure.
