Patna Civil Court was once again thrown into a state of alarm on Tuesday morning after receiving a bomb threat, marking the seventh such threat in recent times and the second within the last 24 hours. According to sources, an unidentified caller contacted the court registrar and threatened to blow up the entire court building. The call led to immediate panic on the premises, prompting swift action from the police and other security agencies.
Following the threat, the court complex was placed under strict security surveillance, and bomb disposal squads along with intelligence teams were alerted. As a precautionary measure, court proceedings were disrupted during the first half of the day. Officials, however, indicated that judicial work may resume in the second half after security checks are completed. Authorities are actively investigating the origin of the call and have assured that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure safety.
