Two Killed, One Injured in Firing Over Minor Land Dispute in Bihar Village

A minor land dispute turned deadly in Rasulpur village under the Fatuha police station area of Patna on Friday, leaving two people dead and one critically injured. The violence reportedly erupted over a long-standing disagreement involving just two inches of land between two brothers’ families in the village.

The deceased were identified as 50-year-old Rajvanti Devi and 55-year-old Devsagar Singh, who succumbed to gunshot injuries due to excessive bleeding. Another victim, Rajan Prasad, was seriously injured and rushed to Patna Medical College and Hospital, where his condition remains critical.

According to family members, talks were underway to resolve the dispute when the situation suddenly escalated. It is alleged that Shivam Kumar Yadav, son of one of the parties, arrived at the scene and opened indiscriminate fire. The incident has plunged the village into fear and tension, while grieving families demand strict action against those responsible.
