Nitish Kumar Begins Phase Two of Samriddhi Yatra From Madhubani

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday began the second phase of his Samriddhi Yatra, starting from Madhubani district in the Mithilanchal region. The Chief Minister flew from Patna to Madhubani, marking the beginning of an intensive tour focused on reviewing development initiatives and engaging directly with the public.

Upon arrival, Kumar inspected the ongoing development works at Mithila Haat Phase-2. He is set to announce and lay the foundation stones for development projects worth around ₹361 crore, covering infrastructure, rural amenities, and livelihood-linked schemes. The itinerary also includes inspections of a Panchayat Bhawan and local ponds, along with the inauguration of the Jeevika Bhawan. The Chief Minister will interact with Jeevika self-help group members and review their stalls.

During the yatra, Nitish Kumar will hold direct public interactions, present an account of his nearly two decades in office, and discuss the state’s development roadmap for the next five years. He will also chair high-level review meetings with district officials to assess progress and issue necessary directions.
