Out of sixteen Jharkhand Congress MLAs, five have formed a separate faction along with their deputy leader and have adopted a rebellious stance against the party unit and all four Congress ministers in the state government. The open expression of their discontent has intensified political activity in the state.According to sources, the five MLAs allege that their voices are being ignored within the party organization and the government. They claim they are not included in the decision-making process and are being neglected in development-related matters. Due to these grievances, they decided to form a separate group to register their protest. It is reported that these MLAs may soon travel to Delhi to meet the Congress central leadership. During the meeting, they are preparing to submit complaints against the Jharkhand government and the ministers appointed under the Congress quota.Such factionalism within the Congress has raised questions about party unity. However, no official statement has been issued by the party leadership so far. All eyes are now on how the central leadership addresses this discontent and whether a resolution can be reached.
