Development has once again taken centre stage in Bihar’s political narrative as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar arrives in Vaishali district under his ongoing Samriddhi Yatra. The region, stretching from Mahua to Jandaha, has been placed on high administrative alert amid extensive preparations and visible political activity.

The Chief Minister is scheduled to reach Mahua by air in the afternoon and will later address a large public gathering near the Bateshwar Nath temple in Jandaha. A massive hi-tech pandal has been set up at the venue, where thousands of people are expected to gather to hear the Chief Minister and witness the launch of major development initiatives.

During the visit, Nitish Kumar will unveil development projects worth approximately ₹15,194 crore. The ruling establishment has projected these initiatives as a significant step toward building a “prosperous Bihar,” highlighting investments in infrastructure and public welfare. Officials say the event is not just a political rally but a showcase of the government’s development agenda and governance record, aimed at reinforcing public confidence ahead of upcoming political milestones.
