Siwan Becomes Key Political Stage During Nitish Kumar’s Samriddhi Yatra

Siwan has become a major political and administrative focus in Bihar as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visits the district under his Samriddhi Yatra. During the visit, the Chief Minister will announce development projects worth ₹201.83 crore, covering a total of 71 schemes aimed at strengthening infrastructure and public welfare. This includes the foundation stone laying of 40 new projects and the inauguration of 31 completed schemes.

Beyond official ceremonies, the visit is being viewed as a strategic platform to reinforce the government’s message of development and good governance. The district administration has made extensive preparations, decorating the city and deploying heavy security across key locations.

As part of the tour, Nitish Kumar will also visit the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Park at Panchmandira, where he will highlight environmental conservation by releasing swans and colorful fish into the park’s pond. The park features thematic paintings promoting water conservation and greenery, symbolizing the government’s focus on balanced development with ecological responsibility.
