Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with MLA Kalpana Soren, is set to arrive in Zurich on January 15 and will subsequently participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. The delegation from Jharkhand comprises 11 members, including senior officials and representatives from key sectors of the state government.During the forum, the team will present Jharkhand’s investment potential to global business leaders and investors. They plan to highlight the state’s industrial policies, mining opportunities, infrastructure projects, and sustainable development initiatives. Officials will engage in discussions aimed at attracting foreign direct investment and forming partnerships that can accelerate economic growth in Jharkhand.The visit to Davos will be followed by a tour of the United Kingdom, where the delegation will explore opportunities in trade, education, and skill development. The focus will be on promoting Jharkhand as a business-friendly state and encouraging collaboration in technology, innovation, and industrial growth.This initiative is part of the state government’s broader strategy to strengthen Jharkhand’s global presence and improve investor confidence. By engaging directly with international stakeholders, the delegation hopes to position Jharkhand as a key destination for investment, while also fostering economic development and job creation within the state.
