India’s First Vande Bharat Sleeper to Run Without RAC, Sets Minimum Fare Rule

India’s first Vande Bharat sleeper train, set to operate between Guwahati and Howrah, will not offer RAC or waitlisted tickets, the Railway Board said. Only fully confirmed bookings will be issued, with a minimum chargeable distance of 400 kilometres. Fares are fixed at ₹2.4 per km for 3AC, ₹3.1 for 2AC, and ₹3.8 for First AC on designated long routes.
