During his visit to Rohtas, senior leader Upendra Kushwaha expressed strong support for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s upcoming Samriddhi Yatra, scheduled to begin on January 16. Calling it an important initiative, Kushwaha said the yatra would serve as a platform for the Chief Minister to express gratitude to the public while directly understanding ground realities across districts.

Addressing party workers in Patanma, Kushwaha highlighted that one of Nitish Kumar’s greatest strengths is his consistent engagement with people. He noted that whenever the Chief Minister gets time, he prefers to interact with citizens, listen to their grievances, and assess development work firsthand rather than relying solely on official reports.

Kushwaha pointed out that Nitish Kumar has undertaken several such statewide tours in the past, which helped the government review the implementation of schemes and identify gaps at the grassroots level. According to him, the Samriddhi Yatra will further accelerate development initiatives, ensure accountability among officials, and provide the government with direct public feedback to refine policies and governance in Bihar.
