CM Hemant Soren Urges Students to Avail Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has urged students to take full advantage of the Guruji Student Credit Card scheme. He stated that the Jharkhand government is providing education loans of up to ₹15 lakh at a 4% interest rate, the highest in the country.The Chief Minister added that the central government has also increased its loan amount after observing Jharkhand’s initiative, enabling students across the country to access financial assistance for higher education.On this occasion, CM Soren also launched a dedicated dashboard and an AI chatbot for the scheme, which will make the application process, loan details, and assistance more accessible to students. He encouraged students to make the most of the scheme and further their education.Experts say this initiative will help reduce financial barriers in pursuing higher education and is an important step toward making students self-reliant. The state government’s effort is expected to further strengthen Jharkhand’s progress in the education sector.
