JPSC Releases Tentative Exam Calendar, Civil Services Prelims Likely on March 8

The Jharkhand Public Service Commission has released a tentative examination calendar up to June 2026, offering long-awaited clarity to thousands of government job aspirants in Jharkhand. The schedule outlines the roadmap for the prestigious Combined Civil Services Examination–2026, enabling candidates to plan their preparation accordingly.

According to the calendar, the Combined Civil Services Preliminary Examination is likely to be held on March 8, 2026. The commission has indicated that the preliminary results may be announced in April. The next phase, the Mains examination, is tentatively scheduled from May 2 to May 4, 2026, with results expected by the end of May.

The final stage of the selection process, interviews, is proposed to be conducted between June 16 and June 19, 2026. If the commission adheres to the timeline, the entire recruitment process could be completed by the end of June 2026. Officials said the calendar is provisional and subject to change, but it reflects the commission’s intent to ensure timely completion of examinations and restore confidence among aspirants awaiting recruitment for years.
