Jharkhand CID Arrests Cyber Fraudster in ₹30 Lakh ‘Digital Arrest’ Scam

Jharkhand CID’s cyber crime branch arrested a Rajasthan-based fraudster for digitally arresting a Ranchi resident and extorting ₹30 lakh in the ED’s name. The accused, Jaipur resident Yogesg Singh Sisodia, was nabbed in a raid. Police said victims were threatened online and coerced to transfer money to a Punjab National Bank account. Multiple IPC and IT Act sections were invoked.
