Indian Markets Open Lower Amid Global Sell-Off

Indian equity markets extended losses for the second straight day, tracking weak global cues. On Tuesday, both Sensex and Nifty opened in the red. The BSE Sensex opened at 85,025, down from its previous close of 85,213, and continued to slip in early trade. Nifty also saw pressure as investors remained cautious.
