‘Bunty-Babli’ Style Loan Scam Busted in Ranchi, Couple Arrested

Ranchi Police have arrested a husband-wife duo accused of cheating city businessmen by posing as loan facilitators. Operating in a Bunty-Babli style, the couple promised large loans at low interest and processing fees, collecting hefty advances. Police said the duo duped victims of ₹70 lakh in Kanke. The accused, Shivaji Patil and Angela Kujur, were also wanted by Odisha Police.
