Centre Clears New Ranchi–Lucknow Train; Rajdhani to Run Daily via Two Routes

A new Ranchi–Lucknow train via Palamu and Ayodhya has received approval from the railway minister. The Ranchi–New Delhi Rajdhani Express will now run daily—three days via Lohardaga–Palamu and four days via Hazaribagh–Koderma. MPs also secured consent to restart the fog-hit Jharkhand Swarn Jayanti Express. The new Ranchi–Lucknow service is expected within months.
