Trump Moves to Label Muslim Brotherhood a Foreign Terrorist Organization

The US President has issued an Executive Order directing national security agencies to begin a 30-day process to designate certain chapters of the Muslim Brotherhood as Foreign Terrorist Organizations. The order states that Lebanon-based factions aligned with the movement have joined Hamas, Hezbollah, and other Palestinian groups in supporting or enabling violence targeting US interests and regional partners.
