Successful Wildlife Exchange Between Ranchi and Visakhapatnam Zoos

A successful wildlife exchange program was conducted between Bhagwan Birsa Biological Park, Ranchi and Indira Gandhi Biological Park, Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh). Following guidelines of the Central Zoo Authority, the transfer was carried out safely. Ranchi sent Himalayan black bear, spotted dove, silver pheasant, and gharial to Visakhapatnam, while Visakhapatnam sent wild dog (dhole), black swan, grey pelican, monitor lizard.
