Centre Denies Plan to Table Bill on Chandigarh Administration in Winter Session

The Centre on Sunday clarified it has no plans to introduce a bill concerning Chandigarh’s administration in the upcoming Parliament winter session. Responding to speculation, the Ministry of Home Affairs said the proposal does not intend to change Chandigarh’s governance or administrative framework in any way, dismissing claims of structural alterations or administrative overhauls.
