Government Implements Four Labour Codes to Improve Wages, Safety and Worker Welfare

The government on Friday announced the rollout of four Labour Codes aimed at simplifying and modernising India’s labour regulations. Officials said the new framework will ensure better wages, workplace safety, social security and improved welfare for workers. The Codes, they added, are designed to empower employees and enterprises alike by creating a protected, productive workforce aligned with the rapidly evolving world of work.
