India Orders 18 BvS10 All-Terrain Vehicles; L&T to Manufacture Under BAE Technology Transfer

India has placed an order for 18 BvS10 all-terrain vehicles from British defence major BAE Systems to enhance mobility in challenging regions such as mountains, snowfields and marshes. The vehicles will be built domestically by Larsen & Toubro under a transfer-of-technology arrangement. The induction aims to strengthen the armed forces’ operational capabilities in difficult and remote terrains.
