DSPMU Students Protest Fee Hike, Burn Effigies of Vice-Chancellor and Registrar

Students of the Commerce Department at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU) staged a strong protest against the fee hike. Both UG and PG students marched, blocked the main college gate, and burned effigies of the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar. They stated that they have been demanding a reduction in the increased fees and better departmental facilities for months, but the administration has taken no action.
