Leprosy Detection Campaign Launched in Dhanbad

A leprosy detection campaign began in Dhanbad on Monday and will continue till November 26. The campaign was inaugurated at Sadar Hospital by the Civil Surgeon and officials from Tata Company by lighting a lamp and flagging off an awareness vehicle. Under the campaign, health workers will go door-to-door to identify potential leprosy patients. Grassroot health workers like Sahiyas and ANMs will play a key role in this initiative.
