Bhuvneshwar Kumar Ends 1,434-Day Wait for International Wicket

India pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar ended his 1,434-day wait for an international wicket by dismissing New Zealand batter Daryl Mitchell during the second T20I in Christchurch on Saturday. Mitchell scored six runs before edging a delivery towards cover-point, where Tilak Varma completed the catch. Bhuvneshwar’s previous international wicket came against New Zealand in Mount Maunganui on November 20, 2022.
