Delhi Police Register 3 FIRs Over Jantar Mantar Protest

Delhi Police registered three FIRs after Friday’s Jantar Mantar protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. The cases were filed under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against unidentified organisers and participants. Police said protesters allegedly violated prohibitory orders imposed under Section 163 of the BNSS in Delhi.
