Supreme Court Gives Rajpal Yadav Final Extension to Deposit ₹2 Crore

The Supreme Court has extended actor Rajpal Yadav’s deadline to October 5 to deposit ₹2 crore in connection with cheque-bounce cases. A bench led by Chief Justice Surya Kant noted his past conduct while granting the extension. Yadav was earlier sentenced to three months’ imprisonment. The court said the extension was his final opportunity to fully comply with its order.
