Actor Sanjay Dutt attended an event with Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik, who asked him to speak in Marathi. Dutt jokingly replied that he had spent six years in Yerwada Jail but still did not learn Marathi. He then briefly spoke in Marathi. Sarnaik’s department recently required commercial passenger vehicle drivers in Mumbai to understand basic Marathi phrases.
