India Sets Preferential Tariff Demand for US Trade Deal

India has made preferential tariffs a condition for finalising its Bilateral Trade Agreement with the United States, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said. Once the US offers India preferential tariff treatment compared with competitors, both sides will finalise and announce the deal. Goyal said India secured favourable terms in sensitive sectors.
